AthHalf 2024 is the 15th annual half marathon and 8th annual AthFest Educates 5K! The AthHalf is a fundraiser for AthFest Educates, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting high-quality music and arts education programs for K -12 youth in Athens-Clarke County. The course highlights Athens's vibrant downtown, beautiful historic buildings, University of Georgia campus and the world-renowned music scene!
Half Marathon
The half marathon will take place on Sunday, November 3, starting at 7:30 am. The starting point of the half marathon is in downtown Athens. The race will wind through downtown Athens, beautiful historic neighborhoods, and the University of Georgia campus. The finish line for the half marathon is at UGA's Sanford Stadium. The race features the best sights that America’s #1 College Town has to offer.
AthFest Educates 5K and Expo
The 5K will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, starting at 2:30 pm. The 5K is an out-and-back course that goes through downtown Athens and the historic Boulevard neighborhood.
The Health and Fitness Expo will take place on Saturday November 2, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Classic Center Pavilion on Foundry Street in downtown Athens, GA. All participants must pick-up their race bib and race shirt from the Health & Fitness Expo.
