The Sasquatch Scramble 5K/10K/Half RETURNS on Sun, 5/12/24 on  the trails of Redwood Regional Park in Oakland!

Course Details-The 5K is trail with 'some' technical terrain. The first mile (approx) is a gradual downhill. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill. Overall, the 5K course includes nearly 700 feet of ascent.

The 10K is trail with technical terrain throughout. The course is a gradual downhill for the first three miles (approx) with a few switchbacks during the descent. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill to the finish line. Overall, the 10K course includes 1,000 feet of ascent. 

The half marathon is trail with technical terrain throughout. The first 3 miles (approx) are a gradual downhill. Miles 3.4 through 8.7 are a gradual uphill. Miles 8.7 through 10.2 are a gradual downhill. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill. Overall, the half marathon course includes 2,100 feet of ascent.

*NOTE-The half marathon is a STOUT challenge. We would NOT recommend the half marathon if you've never covered this distance before and/or you are not doing any kind of trail running currently.

After you cross the finish line and claim your race woodallion, the fun isn't over! All scramblers receive an awesome post race goodie bag and access to the post race BREWFEST sponsored by Standard Deviant Brewing Company! We'll also have non-alcoholic beverages on hand. 

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT SUPPORT REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, AND/OR CREDITS.

In the event of race cancellation due to wildfires, hazardous air quality, hazardous weather conditions, natural disasters, COVID and/or other global pandemics, or any 'act of God' (force majeure) that is beyond our control, we cannot support refunds, transfers, and/or credits. Please note this has only happened ONCE due to COVID in 2020, but anything is possible. Please make sure you are comfortable with these potential risks before you sign up. 

In the event of race cancellation due to any of the aforementioned, we will ship all race swag/items to participants and provide direction around navigating the course(s) on your own. We'll also provide direction around submitting your result. 

We also cannot support refunds, transfers, and/or race credits if you get injured in the days/week(s) leading up to race day, if your schedule changes in the days/week(s) leading up to race day, if a work trip comes up that makes it impossible for you to attend on race day, and/or any other professional or personal matter that arises making it difficult for you to attend in person on race day.
