The 5K run is a long-distance road running competition over a distance of five kilometers (3.107 mi). You can walk, run, or walk/run this race! You can also choose to complete the race virtually, or you can join some of us in Santa Monica at Palisades Park on the corner of Ocean Ave. and Colorado Ave on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 8am.

Palisades Park is a real treat: a beautiful, palm-lined greenway with lots of star-gazing and views of the Santa Monica Pier. It’s a pleasant 1.6 miles from end-to-end, and includes 30 varieties of plants and trees, sculptures, cannons, and a unique landmark, and the 19th-century Camera Obscura. A great idea is to do a loop of the park one way and then return along Ocean Front Walk. There are stairs that lead from the park to the beach just south of Inspiration Point.

This race is raising money to support LevittQuinn's Adoption Project. When a biological parent is unwilling or unable to care for a child, it is often family members, friends, and even neighbors who step up to provide safety and shelter. But without the full measure of the law guaranteeing the relationship’s security, a child may bear the whims of an unstable and potentially dangerous parent, and risks entering the foster care system. Our unique project provides free and sliding scale independent adoption legal services to protect vulnerable children from entering foster care. Intervention on behalf of these children is critical because low-income children who experience abandonment and neglect suffer higher rates of negative consequences throughout their lives. Our work improves outcomes for these children by helping to create stable and loving homes via adoption. From advice to representation, our Adoption Project has provided critical legal services resulting in thousands of adoptions.
