Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:
Plan a trip to beautiful downtown Palouse for the 2023 Palouse Days festivities and stay for a run and chug!
Find your 3 fastest running and/or chugging friends (21 or over with valid ID) to make a complete team of 4 runners, don some epic costumes and find us in the beer garden! Each person will run a 0.8 mile loop and chug a beer before passing the baton to their teammates. The race ends after your 4th teammate finishes their beer.
Any of your teammates not drinking alcohol right now or can't enjoy the gluten? We will be offering non-alcoholic and gluten free (yet still super carbonated) options for runners. However, considering parts of the event take place within the beer garden, participation will be restricted to those 21+.
Race proceeds, donations and sponsorships help fund an annual scholarship for a local Garfield-Palouse graduate pursuing a career in the STEM fields.
