About the 5k Race
For 45 years, this has been Northern Virginia’s premier corporate and community challenge foot race and the area’s only team based race with teams of 5-7 runners. The 5k Course starts at Shelter C at Burke Lake Park (7315 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, VA) and continues out and back, to return to Shelter C. The course is partially paved and partially on the dirt path (watch for some rocks and roots!) over mildly rolling terrain. The race ends at Shelter C for post-race festivities including food, music, and an awards ceremony.TIMING: This race is chip timed by NoVA Race Timing www.novaracetiming.com. Race results will be posted on their website.
