    Upstate Race Series presents the Annual Beer & BBQ 5k. ​
    Are you looking for a fun and unique way to challenge yourself and enjoy some delicious beer? What better way to bring in fall with a little fun run followed by some good eats, good beer, and good people! Look no further than the upcoming Beer & BBQ run! This exciting event combines a running with a beer-tasting experience, offering participants the chance to enjoy the best of both worlds. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun and active way to spend your evening, this race is the perfect opportunity to get outside, challenge yourself, and celebrate your accomplishment with a cold beer.
    The run is open to participants of all ages and abilities, making it a great option for individuals, families, and groups of friends. The course is well-marked and includes plenty of refreshments at the finish. Soft-drinks, Water, Cider, Wine, and of course BEER at the finish will help keep you motivated throughout the race. And when you cross the finish line, you'll be treated with music, food, and plenty of beer. This event promises to be an evening of fun and celebration that you won't want to miss.     This run route starts and finishes at Holland Park, the home of Double Stamp Brewery and the Home Team BBQ. All finishers will receive a FREE BEER!

    • When: October 5th @ 6:00pm
    • Packet Pickup: 1 Hour prior to race start at Double Stamp
    • Event Shirts - Our local apparel vendor (Graphic Cow) will be processing all shirt orders. Please follow the link below to pre-order a shirt from the list of races. All race specific shirts will be mailed directly to your home address after the event to commemorate your race experience! The store link will be open until the Monday after each race.

     

    Participants Experience

    Join our race for an unforgettable running experience! At packet pickup your swag bag will be complete with custom stickers, race bib, and sponsored giveaways. There will be music at both the start and finish of your event to energize your experience. Make sure to smile because all of our runners will receive complementary race photos along the course.

    The run course is run starts at the new Greenline SRT extension from Holland Park. This location is home to Double Stamp Brewery, Home Team BBQ, Greektown Express, and the Flying Rabbits. This out and back course will start from the Double Stamp back parking lot adjacent to the Flying Rabbit obstacle course. This fast course will be held on the NEW Green Line extension of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Please advise that all runners need to stay to the right side on the way out and the way back to accommodate all the runners and pedestrians along the trail.
