    Sunday's RED, WHITE, & BLUE 5k will be held  at IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE: 

    5500 Irvine Center Dr.,  Irvine, Ca. 92618   LOT 5 (Enter in off of Jeffrey.) 

    Entrance is only allowed on Jeffrey (Entrance closed on Irvine Center Drive- its part of course).  All other campus entrances will be closed.

    Pick either of two entrances on Jeffrey. RACE STAGING in SOUTHEAST corner of LOT 5.  Park in the lot between the Manaserro Farm Stand and the PA two story building.  That is lot 5. We will be the only event on campus!

    TO RUN this IN-PERSON race come to  IRVINE Valley College.   Race Day Registration :  6:45am to 8am.   Sunday, July 4, 2021

    RACE COURSE:  A  FLAT AND fast out and back. Totally on the campus of IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE !   MASS START 8am.  

    You may trickle out at the start if you prefer to be more spaced.  BUT, all runners must leave over the start mats area by 8:10am. 

    Awards ceremony begins at 8:45am.  Professional National Anthem singer, David Blair will start the race and FIFE and Drums will entertain you and be available for great Selfie Moments. (ask them about their running times!  They happen to be cross country runners under those uniforms and talent at our historical representation of the use of fife and drums!  FOR YOU...bring us your best FREEDOM vibe and come ready to race, run, jog, or walk this healthy way to kick off 4th of July.   

    SHIRTs and BIBs can be picked up on RACE MORNING at IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE beginning at 6:45am.  Parking lot 5. Patriotic music and great selfie booth station will also be located there.  As well as  a fun awards ceremony set up. You may pick up for others.  No id required. 

    OR COME TO PRE PACKET PICK UP:  Sunday. July 3rd, 2021  FROM 12pm to 3pm.   THE CAREN WARE EVENTS VAN at Manaserro Farms at Irvine Valley College (Lot 5)  

    ITZ ABOUT TIME will be CHIP TIMING your race at IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE.

    Race Day Schedule

    Race Day Registration:  6:45am to 7:45am.

    Freedom Celebration Opening Ceremony:  7:45am to 8am 

    Race starts right after the signing of the NATIONAL ANTHEM.  8AM MASS START

    8:40AM Diaper Dash  Run 50 yards out and 50 yards back

    8:45AM.  1 Mile Start ( can run with your kids, or if doing the COMBO..."going the extra mile" Change bibs.)  RUN to 1/2 mile turn sign

    8:50 AM  Overall WINNERS announced. 

    9AM:  Beginning of ALL age divisions awards announced. 

    SELFIE BOOTH/ LIVE MUSIC/ and 4th of JULY fun will be happening at the BIB/Shirt distribution area.  Which is also the awards area. 

    IF you are RUNNING both the 5k and the 1 mile...make sure you stash one bib way away from the start mats.  USE only one bib at a time.  If you are running with your kids to the 1/2 mile turn around and back for the FUN RUN...make sure you have the FUN RUN bibs on and leave your 5K BIB at the first aid, finish water station tent.  

    We have the BEST BLING EVER.  You will get a choice of either sleeves or tank tops (while supplies and sizes last on the tank tops) so plan to pick up as they are first come , first serve.  We have ample sizes in sleeved shirts.  Tanks are in women's and men's sizes.  Sleeve are unisex.

    SO... Welcome to this year's version of the Annual RED, WHITE, & BLUE or BREW 4th of July 5k/ 1 Mile RUN.  One thing we want to celebrate is our health! 

    Every participant receives an American Flag style race shirt and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDAL!  It's huge. 4 dangling inches!  Every participant gets timed and has a chance to win in 5 year age span categories all the way to 85 and over!!!

    CAREN WARE EVENTS are RFID CHIP Timed by ITZ ABOUT TIME and have very cool age division awards and overall finisher trophies. (5 year age spans this time!)  Because of our specialty CHIP Timing, we are able to do staggered starts.  Corral your friends and family! We are passionate about offering  FUN ACTIVITY, Competition, and  SOMETHING for Everybody and every BODY !

    Awards: 

    Top Three Male/Female Awards. There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans:  5k and 10K
    1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 &over

    YOU get a 4th reward for doing  three SUMMER EVENTS:  Cinco De Miles,  SO Cal Pirate's Run, 4th of July Red, White, & Blue , and the TIKI BEACH 5k/10K are the summer race options. 

    Strollers: Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at own risk.  Stay to your right.  Note, that only register participants with a BIB will receive a finisher medal. Please make sure your BIB is in the front and visible to the finish line crew. 

    Race will take place rain or totally sunny! COME SUNNY!  Celebrate FREEDOM and our great nation! Happy 4th of July.  This is a way to make it so!!!
