Event details and schedule

THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT WOODSHED SMOKEHOUSE IN FORT WORTH

Due to recent construction at Viridian, we must move this event to Fort Worth. The ongoing development in the Viridian community prevents us from staging the event there for several reasons:

• The trail that connects to the River Legacy Trail System has been removed
• The area that was used for parking is under construction due to plotting the land for homes.
• The clubhouse parking lot within the community cannot handle the number of cars expected based on registration counts.

 We reached out to the City of Arlington to potentially host the event at River Legacy Park. However, they already have prior obligations at the pavilions within the park. Another potential location was the entrance to River Legacy Park off Collins Street (across the street from Viridian) - however, the parking lot capacity would not support all of our participants.

Therefore, with the short notice, there is no other alternative location within the City of Arlington that can accommodate this event. The only other alternative besides moving this event to Fort Worth was to postpone the event to another date when we could utilize River Legacy Park.

AWARDS ARE AWARDED THREE DEEP IN EACH AGE GROUP FOR THE 5K & HALF MARATHON.

*Results will be posted live at www.coxracingservices.com. All award winners can pick up their awards at the event site during the event or at The Runner Shop in Arlington the following week.

ALL FINISHERS IN THE HALF MARATHON, & 5K WILL RECEIVE FINISHER MEDALS.

Awards not picked up on race day will be at The Runner Shop in Arlington after Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Awards will not be mailed after the event. Therefore, award winners must pick up their award at race site or by April 30th at The Runner Shop in Arlington.

RESULTS WILL BE CHIP-TIMED BY COX RACING SERVICES
