Celebrate National Trails Day by participating in a 5K race on the historic High Bridge Trail. The park is a rail to trail conversion and is a wide, level surface with virtually no grade. The course is out and back across the historic High Bridge. This event benefits Friends of the High Bridge Trail and sponsored by Centra Southside Community Hospital.

(Directions: located just 3 miles from downtown Farmville, follow Rt. 460 to Aspen Hill Road, follow Aspen Hill Road 1.7 miles crossing the High Bridge Trail. 1466 Camp Paradise Road is on the LEFT and clearly marked as the entrance to High Bridge Trail State Park. REGISTRATION:
Online registration $25 (Feb. 1 - Apr. 30, 2024), $35 (May 1 - May 31, 2024), $40 Race Day (June 1, 2024).
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If the "in-person" 5K is canceled, all registrations will be moved to a Virtual 5K scheduled the same day.

Pre Race Packet Pickup:
FREE $5.00 parking voucher available for those that pickup their packet on Friday, May 31st.

Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration:
Race Day registration is available for $40. However, there is no "on-site" registration. Those registering can do so via their mobile device or computer before arriving at the start/finish.

Due to the width of the path across the bridge, we cannot accommodate strollers and pets.

Please note there is a $5.00 Virginia State Park parking fee collected on-site.
(Those attending packet pickup on Friday, May 31st receive a complimentary $5.00 parking voucher.)

Timing and scoring of the race will be done by Riverside Runners, Lynchburg, VA.
