  • Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:

From Sept. 12-20, Clean Commute Options wants you to be part of Lansing’s premiere Du. The Come Clean Duathlon. It’s the first of its kind, and it promotes clean air, friendly competition and community involvement that’s sure to keep you on your feet—and bike seat—from start to finish. 1.4 MI RUN - 12.4 MI BIKE - 5K RUN

Due to COVID-19 concerns and regulations, the 2020 Come Clean Duathlon Race Committee has decided to conduct a virtual event capped at 150 participants. Racers will be able to complete the event anytime between Sept. 12 and Sept. 20. If you are registered for this year’s event but do not wish to participate, the last day to request a refund is Saturday, Aug. 22.

Participants can choose between receiving their race bibs, shirts and medals in the mail or picking them up directly from CATA at:

    CATA Administrative Offices
    4615 Tranter Street
    Lansing, MI 48910

Please email cleancommute@cata.org by Sept. 4 if you would like to pick up your items in person. Items will be available for pickup Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. beginning Sept. 8. Otherwise we will happily mail your packet to the address provided on your race registration form.

Aside from being a great cause that benefits everyone, our Du offers the following:

    • Medals for all finishers
    • Awesome race shirt
    • Custom race bib
    • Come Clean Duathlon face mask
    • Raffle prizes from local businesses
    • Digitally remastered race photos that we ask you to take and submit
    • Exclusive access to the RaceJoy app

Due to the virtual nature of this year’s event, we will hold a raffle with items purchased from local businesses – our way during this challenging time of supporting those who have always supported us.

Clean Commute Options (CCO) is a service of CATA (Capital Area Transportation Authority). We promote alternative ways to travel such as biking, walking (or running!), bus, and car/vanpooling to help keep emissions down and our air clean!

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
