Kids' TRY-athlon

with Advanced Pediatric Associates

This event is all about fun over competition. Boys and girls of all ability levels show their skills in three events: swimming, biking and running. Come on, kids, TRY it out! 

Ages: 6 to 12, based on event date
Date: July 13, 2024
Time: Varies by age, start times are approximate but no age group will start earlier than designated time.  
Location: H2O'Brien Pool  
Cost: $35*
*Price increases to $40 on June 29. Online registration will close July 12 at noon, as long as space remains. Walk-up registration will NOT be available for this event. 

Registered participants will receive an event T-shirt, custom race bib, finisher medal and post-race refreshment. Register by June 28 to guarantee an event shirt and size; if extra shirts remain, sizes will be available by registration. 

Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities. 

A virtual Parent/Guardian Meeting will be held prior to the event on Thursday, July 11 at 5:30p.m. A link will be sent to registrants as the virtual meeting approaches.

Event Distances

6-7 years: 25m swim (1 length)/ 0.75 mile bike/ .5 mile run

8-10 years: 50m swim (2 lengths)/ 1.5 mile bike/ .5 mile run

11-12 years: 100m swim (4 lengths)/ 1.5 mile bike/ 1 mile run
