Come Run Like It's Recess at this fun filled, inter-generational family event, benefiting Roxboro Elementary School. Run or walk either the 2-mile  4-mile distance that loops through the beautiful Heights neighborhoods surrounding the school.  Young children have the opportunity to participate in a fun run around the track after the race.  

Online registration costs are $25 + online fee for 2-mile/4-mile for adults, $10 + online fee for children (14 yrs and younger) and Kids's Fun Run is free.  Race day registration is available starting at 7:45am.  

Prize structure for both 2-mile and 4-mile is overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd (male and female).  First place in each age category will receive a medal.  Age groups will be awarded as follows:  age 5 and under, age 6, age 7, age 8, age 9, age 10, age 11, age 12, age 13, age 14-16, age 17-20, age 21-29, age 30-39, age 40-49, age 50-59, age 60-69 and age 70+.  There will be a raffle that will take place after the run, don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets. Everyone is a winner in the Kids Fun Run around the Roxboro Middle School track.

All paid participants in 2-mile and 4-mile receive a "Run Like It's Recess" T-shirt.   Refreshments, entertainment and awards are be given to all participants.

Complimentary childcare is available (reservations can be made when you register for the race on-line here). Save on ticketing fees when you register more than one person in your family.
