Join us in celebrating with us Easter Weekend at the Tortoise and the Hare 5K & 10K and Color Run!! The event continues to fundraise for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation.
Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: Opens at 8:45AM at Lions Park under the pavilion! Parking is at the Hilton Senior Center (43 Lafayette Road). There will be no early packet pickup unless otherwise noted.
5K/10K Fees:
$25 through 1/31
$30 through 3/23
$35 through 3/29
$40 on Race Day
**Youth 15 & Under – $20, $25 on race day
1 Mile COLOR RUN (NOT TIMED): $25, $30 on race day does include a t-shirt in 2024
At each 1/4 mile mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder.
Some Color Runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Our Color Throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. The color mostly washes out of your clothes after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.Courses: 5K and 10K all within the Salisbury Trail System, 1 mile color run

Top 3 Overall Male and Female Hare in the 5K and 10K
Top 3 Male and Female in the 5K/10K in each AG: 15 & under,16-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60-75, 75+

Overflow parking at the Boys and Girls Club.Post Race: A variety of packaged snacks and fruit. Music & entertainment provided by Evolvement Radio!!
Those 21+ can grab 1 FREE beer using their ticket on their race bib!
Beneficiary: 100% of the net proceeds will be allocated to the Salisbury Parks and Recreation for the continued development of Partridge Brook Park.
Weather: Races are rain, snow or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race needs to be cancelled there will be no refunds but we will work to establish a postponement date. That being said, each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees.
