    Road Race for Education 2024

The Road Race for Education is a road race and festival located in the heart of East Atlanta. This event, now in its 44th year, brings together the East Lake Community, East Atlanta Neighbors, and the Muslim community to celebrate independent education. The Road Race for Education was previously named The Mohammed Ali Road Race in honor of the legendary athlete Mohammed Ali; this race symbolizes courage, determination, and community spirit.

For the first time, we encourage participants to run in spirit with this year’s theme - Bow Ties and Tutus, adding a fun and festive element to this year's race experience.  Best costume contest: $100 Spring Greens Community Cafe gift card to top male/female costumed runners!
