Bridge of Lions 5K 

We're Back!!! The 37th Annual Bridge of Lions 5K!!! Join us downtown for this must-do event. Runners and Walkers will start at the historic Castillo de San Marcos (The Fort), in downtown St. Augustine, run over the Bridge of Lions, and through Davis Shores. The race finishes at Oglethorpe Park, on Anastasia Island where participants will receive the custom designed finisher medal and can enjoy snacks, refreshments, and more! Don't miss out on this St. Augustine tradition! Participants will be capped at 1200.

VIRTUAL RACE
Can't be with us July 10? Sign up for the Virtual Option and submit your results to RunSignup. We will have pick up times and locations available or we will ship your shirt/medal to you. There will be no awards for the virtual race.

T-SHIRTS

Shirts will be given to everyone who registers by 6/25/2021. Shirts will be given to participants who have not pre-registered on a first come, first serve basis.

AWARDS

Overall male and female winners of the 5K will receive awards.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded to both male and female runners in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and up

RACE TIMING AND SCORING

The race will be professionally scored and timed at the start and finish by RaceSmith. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number.  Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.  Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race at  www.RaceSmith.com

COURSE
5K USATF Certified Course # FL10062EBM

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.
