    This inaugural event is a timed 5K run and fun run taking place on the trails of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley as a fundraiser for the non-profit animal organization Peaceful Fields Sanctuary.  Join us for a fun and active event to support a local charity!

    Peaceful Fields Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit GuideStar silver rated animal rescue & sanctuary organization run by a dedicated team to saving the lives of farmed animals in need and providing each of our rescued residents a safe, happy, and healthy forever home. We believe all animals should live free from abuse, exploitation, neglect, and cruelty.  Located in Frederick, county VA for 8 years, PFS is currently home to 70 animals and has saved over 130 in total.
