This is the 40th (whoa!) running of Frostbite, one of the Richmond Road Runner's Club's signature events. We cannot thank you all enough for your support over these past 40 years! We had such an amazing time watching you all tackle the 9.33 miles last year, we're excited to see you #dothething again in 2024!

Speaking of doing it again in 2024, It is time to officially let the #catoutofthenbag! This year your favorite RVA race will be starting at one of Richmond's gems (and a top ranked one at that)... Lewis Ginter! #saywhatttt #weknow!

Yes, the #Bite will begin at Lewis Ginter and you'll actually have the opportunity to run THROUGH the garden itself! I mean, LG doesn't just let anyone run through the garden, y'all, this is absolutely an amazing opportunity to see the garden from a different perspective! We are so, so appreciative of Lewis Ginter for allowing us to take a #runningtour on race day! Having said that, due to LG being open to us running on the property, we are capping the amount of participants at 800 (so you'll wanna get in with the #quickness).

This is some #nextlevel partnership (ok, we think so at least), don't miss out on this opportunity and don't forget to check out Gardenfest of Lights this holiday season, too. Let's support those who support us, Biters', it's how we roll!

Definitely want to get signed up before it sells out! 👏👏 #somakeithappencaptains!

Ps: And yes, Dunkin Donuts will absolutely be back! 🍩

The in-person Frostbite 15k (9.33 rolling RVA miles) will be run on 1/28/24.  Registration is capped at 800 runners or walkers. The chip-timed race will use staggered starts. The Virtual Frostbite 15k will allow you to run when, where, and with whom you please on Sunday, January 28th (or on Saturday or Monday).

Both events are RRRC Grand Prix (GP) events for 2024. RRRC GP participants receive a race point for posting a time for either event. RRRC GP participants in the in-person race will receive place points based on overall and/or age group finish times.

NOTE: Details provided below about packet pick-up and race day activities are tentative and subject to change. Registered participants will receive updated information a few days before the race.

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
