    Bethany Community School (BCS) is honored to host the Kristen Cushing Color Run/Walk in memory of avid runner and beloved mother and community member, Kristen Cushing. 100% of proceeds go towards a memorial in her honor at BCS!

    Races will be kicked off with a color splash celebration in Kristen's honor! Race includes vibrant color zones at different stations along the kid's fun run and 5k, with color participation optional!!

    Additionally, come enjoy non-race activities, food trucks, and check out BCS's Health Fair!

    Early Birds: Register by April 17, 2022 to receive a free t-shirt (designed by Kate Cushing!) and swag bag with an individual color packet included! Please save the color packet for the kickoff color toss dedication to Kristen!

    Fun Facts:

    • Kids Fun Run is FREE! 400m race! (Please register ahead of time & sign waiver)
    • 5k is TIMED!
    • Run or WALK the 5k! Stroller babies do not need to register. 
    • Family Discount: $10 off for 3+ participants! (no code needed)
    • 5k "Kid's Rate" for current 6th graders & younger, $15/pp (no code needed).

    For those who registered on or before April 17, 2022, we strongly encourage swag bag packet pick-up prior to race day. Below is the schedule for early pickup. 

    **If you're a runner who registered after April 17th and before May 1st, you may pick up your bib during early pick up!

    Location for swag bag/bib pickup: 40 Peck Rd Bethany, CT (Town Hall parking lot adjacent to Bethany Community School)

    Times:  Wednesday, May 4:   3:15pm-5:15pm

                 Thursday, May 5:   8-9am; 5-7pm

    * You MAY pick up packets for family/friends/neighbors!
