    Welcome to the Striders Fallen Heroes 4 Miler and Little Heroes Kids Mile
    The Tidewater Striders have teamed up with Sea2C to put on a fun Family event to Honor our Fallen Heroes! Come out on Memorial Day weekend and run for a great cause and for some Fun! we will have an Afterparty onsite with Pizza and Beer!
     
    COURSE: The Four Miler is a 2-mile out and 2-mile back course on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. Little Heroes Kids Mile is .5 mile out and .5 mile back. 
    FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 1 aid station with water. Aid station location will be at 2 miles.
    AMENITIES & POST-RACE: Finishers receive a Medal and Premium Short Sleeve Shirt. Onsite hospitality & refreshments. Post-race party onsite!
    TIME LIMITS: The Four mile race starts at 8:00AM. The finish line will close at 10:00AM.  One mile starts at 9:30AM. The finish line will close at 11:00AM
    AWARDS: Top 3 overall Males and Females and the top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups will receive awards for the 4-mile race! 1-mile kids awards are for the following ages 6 under, 7-8 9-10 11-12 13 & up
    REGISTRATION: Registration will be open until May 27, 2023. Paper entry forms are not available.
    PACKET PICKUP Early Packet pick-up will be at Running Etc. Virginia Beach Friday, May 26th from 3-6pm! Race day pick-up will be from 6:45AM - 7:45AM
    LEGACY RUNNERS/STRIDER PLUS: Automatically applied at checkout thru May 27th.
    CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up to May 27th. Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration. You should use the account you used to register for the club to apply for this discount. We will also attempt to match on name/date of birth.
    4 MILE RUCK FOR THE FALLEN: All rucks must be 40 lbs! We will have awards for the fastest Male & Female finishing with a Ruck!
     
    Donations: This year we have partnered the Sea2c Foundation! Sea2c Foundations' mission is to reconnect adoptees and AmerAsians from the war in Vietnam with each other and with their birth families, and to provide emotional healing for active-duty U.S. military combat personnel and Veterans. please if you can make a Donation to this awesome Foundation!
