We HIGHLY recommend visiting the website for this race to get a feel for what you're getting yourself into. If you're looking for a highly competitive race with strict rules, this isn't it. This is a family atmosphere, laid back, and we're about getting your miles done and getting you to your goal. When you register for this race, you acknowledge that you have read the website and understand how our races are run.

As with any other race put on by any other company, registration fees and add-on fees are final and are not refundable or transferable for any reason. The races will go on rain, snow, or shine.

Awesomesauce Events produces low-key, laid-back running events that are focused more about camaraderie instead of competition. Our courses are not certified and not Boston qualifiers, but they are measured accurately and are USATF sanctioned. You won't find mid-race splits or mile markers or bands on every corner or an army of volunteers with their arms outstretched holding drinks just for you. There are plenty of races that are more serious, and we choose to run for fun. We do time our races and the results are posted online, but you will not be timed to the millisecond by chip timing equipment. If these things are important to you, we welcome you to search out other race companies. Our races are more like having a picnic with your friends with some running or walking thrown in for fun. We welcome fun-loving, laid-back, family atmosphere type people who are more worried about having a good time over running absolutely as fast as they can. As with any other race put on by any other company, registration fees and add-on fees are final and are not refundable or transferable for any reason. Prices are subject to change. The races will go on rain or shine. (We reserve the right to cancel, delay, or pause mid-race if there are dangerous weather conditions, including lightning or high winds.)

We recommend visiting our website to learn more about us, about how we operate, and find out what to expect!

Breakfast on Saturday morning includes coffee, oatmeal, bagels, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, fruit, banana bread, and all the usual toppings and spreads you'd expect to see from those items.

Things you can absolutely expect to see at the aid station tables: chips (multiple flavors), pretzels, cookies (multiple flavors), PB&J - grape and strawberry- and PB&honey and Nutella and honey and any combination of those things that we can smear onto tortillas and bread, pickles and pickle juice, olives, CANDY of all kinds, bacon, hummus wraps, turkey/ham/cheese wraps or sandwiches, nuts/trail mix, oranges, bananas, pineapple, peaches, any other fruit we deem looks good, saltines, pork rinds, potatoes and sweet potatoes, salt to dip whatever you feel like dipping, grilled cheese/cheese quesadillas, we'd keep typing but honestly Courtney just throws whatever she wants to throw into the shopping cart because we know that many of you don't want to be eating the same thing over and over for multiple days. Y'all, we don't mess around. Gluten free foods are kept separate to prevent cross-contamination. Vegetarians and vegans, we've got you covered too.

Hot food includes (not limited to): chicken and rice casserole, nachos, chili, burgers, hot dogs, baked potatoes, barbecue chicken (maybe pork too), casseroles of all kinds, pasta bake, pizza, chicken nuggets, tater tots, soups and broths, eggs, biscuits, sausage, pancakes, we just keep the food coming and we constantly ask you what you want to eat. Again, vegetarians and vegans, we've got you covered here with vegetarian versions of things like burgers, and we keep the meat separate from the other stuff where we can and have you assemble to your taste, so that you can have nachos with beans or a baked potato with broccoli (and cheese), where the meat eaters can add their chicken or beef onto those things.

We have plenty of refrigerator and freezer space, and we're happy to heat things up for you, so if you want to bring special stuff for yourself, just make sure to label it CLEARLY and we'll take care of you!

Volunteers are ESSENTIAL to making this race work. Please help us out and help us recruit volunteers!!

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
