Race Information

South Park Trail Marathon
Fairplay, CO
Park County
Jun 3, 2023 - Saturday
26.2M, 13.1M run
  • Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:

Starting at an elevation of 9,915’ and topping out at 13,183’ the South Park Trail Runs are among the highest in Colorado. Ultra runners and Marathoners run from the South Park Historical District all the way to the top of The Peerless Mine. Witness first hand the terrain that prospectors experienced during the great Colorado Gold Rush. Oxygen is not required to enjoy the raging creeks, historic mines, and the scramble above tree line after all.

15-Milers can enjoy HPRS’ fastest "half", sprinkled with deceptive uphills and downhills. We’ll have you questioning the elevation map in your pocket. This race is a good introduction to what HPRS is all about, overcoming #Adversity, and growing from the experience.

A race to test your mining soul. Hardworking men and women sunk themselves into the Earth day in and out to make a living for their families. What purpose drives you to sink yourself into this sport? We run over the rivers and through the woods, but there is no grandmother’s house on this route, only the opportunity to face #Adversity and triumph. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Human Potential Race without a few bonus miles. Lucky for you they’re free!

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
