EVENT INFO:

Join us Saturday, Dec 2nd as the Nichols Improvement Association presents the 35th edition of our holiday classic. The NIAJBR takes place on a scenic rolling hill 5K course through the heart of the Nichols community. Walkers are welcomed to participate as well. PLEASE Come Dressed to Run - There are no indoor changing facilities.

For those that want to avoid the crowds, you can participate virtually or as we call it a "DIY-JBR" which allows the spirit of this community event to live throughout the month of December. Participants will have until 12/3 to complete their run. You can run the Official JBR course (see course link below). If you prefer to run a different 5K course - that's totally cool.  Once you are done you will be able to upload your tims into our results database.

Jingle Bell Run  5K  & Virtual  FOR 19 & OLDER ONLY  $30 till 11/15,    $35 11/16-12/2 

Jingle Bell Run  5K  & Virtual  FOR 18 & YOUNGER ONLY  $20 till 11/15,    $25 11/16-12/2  NOTE- NO COUPON CODES CAN BE USED FOR THIS AGE GROUP. 

1.2mile UNTIMED Health Walk    $25  till 11/15,   $30 11/16-12/2

JBR Jr.   IS FREE !  Recommended for 9yrs & under please.

All 5k & Health Walk participants registered prior to Nov 15th will be guaranteed a shirt size.

Anything after 11/15 will be “as available while supplies last. But you may not get a shirt based on our supply. 

JBR Jr participants will receive a complimentary race bib with the option to purchase commemorative swag.

The Nichols Improvement Association is a Not For Profit organization. Proceeds from the race go back into supporting numerous community events, maintaining our property, ball fields, community playground & the Starkweather House.

SATURDAY 12/2
Nichols United Methodist Church - 35 Shelton Road
8:45am - JBR Junior participants-meet at the 5k finish line & walk up to the Nichols Fire Station with volunteers.
9:00am - JBR Junior assemble in front of firehouse (1/10 mi north of the church)
9:05am - JBR Junior starts (we recommend Ages 9 & under- parents can accompany the kids)
9:20am - All 5k Runners & 2 mi Walkers assemble at the same start line: announcements & Anthem
9:30am - 5K & health walk start together at the same time/place. Runners with Strollers & Dogs must go towards back of the pack please.

9:45am - Snacks & fluids

10:15am - Awards presentation at the radio tent ONLY TO THE TOP THREE M&F CHAMPIONS- FLEET FEET GIFT CARDS

         ALL AGE GROUP AWARDS (listed BELOW) from the tent near the finish as soon as our timer gives us the results!
          ORANGE THEORY GIFT CARDS TO THE 100TH, 200TH, AND 300TH FINISHERS!
