On Sunday, November 7, Webmaster Mary ran the New York Marathon with running friend Mary Bolich.

The Marys traveled with 2 other friends, enjoying a long weekend in New York. On the go from 5am to 11pm each day, the Marys squeezed in the 26.2 mile adventure between sight seeing excursions and broadway shows.

The New York Marathon should be on every marathoner's To Do list. The energy and excitement of running the world's largest marathon is something everyone should experience at least once.

This year's New York marathon had 44,829 finishers. The Marys ran a comfortable 3:24, finishing 3795 and 3796 overall, 437 and 438 out of 16,072 women. Webmaster Mary was 56 out of 2782 in her age group - F40-44. Mary Bolich was 44 out of 2026 in her age group - F45-49.
