If you are looking to run a marathon for the first time this is not the course for you.  While you can't predict the weather some things you can do are as follows:  1. Make registration less confusing.  The website was very confusing and when you got overbilled it was impossible to contact anyone at Active.com who could help.  2.  Most larger marathons or at least those that charge $90.00 would have had a water station at every mile after the 20 mile mark.  They were spaced about every 2 miles in the beginnng and they became less frequent after 15 miles.  3. Hold the event where people can park before the event.  We ran the Wynee, AR marathon on Saturday the 5th and found everything to be first class.  Water every mile and $38.50! After running 55 marathons I would rate this event in the bottom 5.
