I ran the MCM in 2008 with some friends and a few of them are counting this marathon as Virginia and others, including me, were thinking this was a District of Columbia marathon. We are all 50 staters and now I need to make a decision on whether I check off Virginia or become a 50 + DC marathoner. Can anyone let me know if this is officially a VA marathon?
