Race director Bill Jahnke, once again did a great job with a BLS race.  The course starts and ends in Estabrook Park in Milwaukee.  It loops around the park, then does an out and back on the Oak Leaf trail.

Because Bill was able to obtain the BLS P.A. system, but not the microphone that goes with it, the race start was Bill simply yelling "Gooooooooooo".  This made me smile.  But the REAL treat was the awards presentation, when Bill used a paper cup with the bottom cut out for a make-shift megaphone. Very charming!

This is a great no-frills race.  Low cost, no t-shirt, accurate course and mile markers, scenic course, friendly volunteers, perfect weather.  What more can you want for a Saturday morning.
