I'm looking for folks to train with - most likely for a Saturday or Sunday long run. If you've read John Bingham's stuff - No Need for Speed and Marathoning for Mortals - I'm probably of that school.

My goal is to run (not walk or run/walk) the Yonkers 1/2 next September. I'm getting there on distance but tend to run (jog, whatever you want to call it) in a range of a 11-12 minute mile uphill (which is alot of Yonkers), a bit faster on flats. Naturally I'd like to pick up the pace but am trying to do it the right way. I love what I'm doing and it would be great to find a few semi, but not painfully competitive companions.

Look forward to hearing from you
