Greetings runners!

My  name is James Mummert, and on June 1st I invite you to join us in Beavercreek, OH for the 1st annual Harrison's Heroes 5k/10k.

This event will honor our son Harrison, who on May 29th, 2012, passed away from Trisomy 18. We have partnered up with Dayton Children's Hospital, and all proceeds we raise will help their needy patient fund in the NICU, which will help parents with high risk pregnancies have a chance to make it.

This event would make a great 5k for someone who has never run one before. The 5k course is a fairly flat and easy course. The 10k course will be a great tune-up for someone who is training for a further distance. Got a half or full you are working towards? Perfect! This course is a little more hilly, and will challenge you a bit more.
