St. Mary's Cancer Center was where my father-in-law was treated for Colon Cancer. the first 5k was held the Sept after he was diagnosed. The first 3 races we walked/ran in his honor. We lost him in June 2009. Now we walk/run in his memory. This year was my best time although it's only my second year of walking for time. 1 hr 2 min 14 seconds. 1 min 9 seconds better than last year! But next year will be better! I WILL break the 1 hour mark! I'm still a walker, but maybe my legs will learn to run someday!
