Race check in begins at 7:00am
Race time: 8:00am
 
Register now for this fun, family-friendly race. This certified 5K course takes you through the beautiful, scenic forest preserve and will raise funds and awareness for the Alport Syndrome Foundation.
 
Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children 13 and under. 
 
Alport Syndrome is an inherited disease of the kidney that can
also affect the inner ear and eye. It is estimated that 1 in 5,000 people are affected by this disease, most of whom are young boys who require dialysis or a kidney transplant by their early 20s. 
 
The Alport Syndrome Foundation is a volunteer-led organization started by families affected by this genetic disease. Proceeds from fundraising will be used to champion research to find a cure, provide outreach and awareness programs, and support conferences and symposiums.
